Om Prakash Nautiyal: I just can not understand why they are asking Mr. Sharad Pawar's to resign on moral grounds when they themselves allege that during the entire IPL bid process he was on cricket ground.

Om Prakash Nautiyal: It is unfortunate that the success of strike or Bund depends not on the genuineness of the cause or demands but the amount of nuisance it creates and its ability to cripple National economy and hold the Nation on ransom. Else, nobody may even talk to you as is happening with poor Newspaper vendors of Vadodara.

Om Prakash Nautiyal: In a gruesome tragedy on Saturday morning an air India flight from Dubai crashed while landing at Manglore airport killing 158 passengers . May their souls rest in peace.May God give strength to their family members to bear this irreparable loss.

Om Prakash Nautiyal :Congratulations to Visvanathan Anand for winning the World Chess Championship title against Topalov at Sofia on 11.05.2010 . Anand has been continuously in the top five in the World ranking list for the past two decades .This is his fourth World title in eleven years in a highly competitive sport played by almost over 125 Nations with average ELO rating above 2000.

Om Prakash Nautiyal: I am very impressed with the devotion and determination of Heads of various Sports Federations in India and their spirit of – “ never say quit”. Government must allow them to serve Indian sports till India wins an Olympic gold medal in the respective games they head or up to a life term, whichever is later of course !

Om Prakash Nautiyal: It is said that Cricket is the only game where you gain weight while playing. In IPL it was not the players alone, but also Members of IPL Organizing body and Franchise owners etc. , who gained so much (money) weight that now they find it very difficult to move out of IPL.

Om Prakash Nautiyal: To all my friend who are going through difficult times I can only say not to worry any more as good days are ahead .See tomorrow is Sature day followed by Sun day.So cheer up please

Om Prakash Nautiyal: Somebody has pointed to this amazing fact that the amount of news that happens in the world every day exactly fits the news paper.So if IPL is churning out more news these days, the other important events have themseleves reduced their occurence in a nice gentlemenly gesture to make space for it.

Om Prakash Nautiyal: The exit of our cute ,chivalrous minister Shashi Tharoor who kept us entertained with his childlike pranks and innocent acts which included creating controversies through his twitter slate , playing cricket off field and promptly saying sorry when reprimanded , has left our PM with a challenging task of finding a suitable substitute. Any suggestions ?

Om Prakash Nautiyal: To day is 15th April, the birth day of Himachal Pradesh.I congratulate all my Himachali friends and relatives,including my wife, on this auspicious occassion.Incidentally I happen to be in Shimla these days. This beautiful Hill station,however, like many of our politicians and models, is loosing its cool .Shimla's temperature on this year’s Himachal day is 4-5 degrees more than the average temperature during this period.

Om Prakash Nautiyal:  Women reservation bill could get through in Upper House when seven unruly M Ps , stalling the proceedings of the house, were forcibly evicted by Marshals. It leads to the conclusion that Marshals' Law make the democracy function .

Om Prakash Nautiyal: I reproduce below a postulate which should worry all of us on this planet and prompt us to take adequate and effective global measures for quickly achieving zero percent population growth rate for ensuring that some amongst the future generations also understand quantum mechanics and theory of relativity: " The total sum of intelligence on this planet is constant and the population is increasing.


Om Prakash Nautiyal: 9th March is International Panic Day.This day makes a lot of sense to me. You need not worry daily for petty issues. Keep accumulating all your worries for this day and be cheerful for the rest of the year. Heap of accumulated worries may put you in panic on this day but this is how this day has to be celebrated !

Om Prakash Nautiyal: International women day is being celebrated in India today .India is on the verge of creating history by empowering women through acceptance of Women Reservation Bill today.

Om Prakash Nautiyal: Electronic media should be thankful to Ichhadharis,Nityanands,
Anupkumars and other fake Swamis of this world to provide them enough food to last for weeks together.
